The UKE PASS Centre – abbreviated to “UP” – aims to help support the University’s educational objectives by fostering relations between its students and the world of work, both while they are at the University and immediately after they have obtained their academic qualifications.

PASS stands for Placement, Apprenticeship and Work Placement Services for Students.

To this end, the UP Centre designs, plans and implements all those initiatives aimed at strengthening relations between academic studies and the world of work, offering constant support to Kore students and graduates.

In particular, the UP Centre:

deals with services related to vocational, pre- and post-graduate training and national and international higher education apprenticeships;
supports Kore students and graduates who want to start their own business activities, assisting them in the initial phase and acting as a business incubator;
carries out studies and research on employment opportunities for its graduates;
promotes and organises “MEET UPs”, meetings with companies interested in recruiting initiatives and job and career guidance workshops;
handles relations with companies and public and private institutions aimed at facilitating the intermediation between labour supply and demand;
follows its graduates in their job placement and post-graduate training, verifying, in collaboration with the Alma Laurea consortium, their individual development up to five years after graduation.
